When you sit across the desk from someone who has a 490 credit score, two repo’s on their bureau, and a job they just started three weeks ago — and they need a car to get to work — you learn real fast what actually matters in a subprime deal. Not theory. Not what a textbook says. What actually gets that customer approved and keeps them in that car.
